Dutch Masta, that's a large part of why this site doesn't have that PM function available to everyone. It's true, deals and hookups would be widespread, and then we'd get shut down. Don't know if you realize it or not, but that's precisely what happened to another site owned by different people. It didn't just get shut down, either. Lots of folks got busted.

Another reason is because it would take a heck of a lot more server/storage space to support PMing for members. That's why members who want to do private messaging can post their IM and email addresses on their profiles--so they can talk offline and away from the boards in privacy. It isn't rocket science, you know.
