Shitty New Years experience

OK, so New Years is always an anti-climax anyway, but this year was the worst of all...

So my mate Nick is having a house party at his brother's house. It's me, my girlfriend (who got a 3 hour train journey to spend NY with me), my best mate and Nick. We're all drinking at his house in the kitchen, having a good time, going a little crazy. I bought a blunt from my newsagent beforehand so we could roll up a phat one before midnight. So i'm working my magic on the blunt, everyone who smokes is getting all hyped. This big bastard in a black jersey walks in looking over my shoulder.

I say to him "Yo man, care for a BLUNT!" (with that emphasis on BLUNT)
"A blunt eh? What's that then?"
"No problem man, it's just a whole score of the ganj wrapped in a cigar paper. You in?"

He takes out a police badge and goes "Surrey County Police mate."

So i'm just thinking "shit" over and over. I'm surrounded by all my good mates, it's the end of the holiday, my girlfriend who I hadn't seen for a while was there. I'm just panicing while this fucking prick grills me about drugs at parties.

Turns out while he IS a copper, he was off duty and Chris (Nick's brother) though it'd be funny to have him scare the shit out of me while i'm trying to roll. Everyone explodes with laughter AHAHAHAHA, FUNNY SHIT!

That was my whole evening destroyed right there. I don't think he could have killed my buzz anymore if he threw it in a garbage grinder. I was shaken up, humiliated and immensely pissed off. I can take a joke, but this guy was obviously loving it, relishing my paniced expression while he deadly seriously made out like he was going to arrest me.

I confronted Chris about it but he just laughed because he's SUCH a practical joker. Later on when it was just me and the cop I said "So presumeably you'd get fired if you were found scaring people with your badge off duty?". He just goes "Well you'd be arrested for supplying drugs at a party !"

Fucking twat. Thanks for raping my party for me.

Yeah, that's pretty much what everyone else said. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be the only one pissed off if it happened to them though.
