Sometimes i swallow the smoke when i take a big hit

I've been smoking for about 3 years, i dont smoke alot maybe twice a week sometimes, more often i've been tryin to rip everything and take big hits, but when i do i cant help it but swallow i dont choke like most people do, im confused, can someone help me out :rastasmoke:

well if u have a joint, hold the roach slightly away from your lips and breath in through your lips. this way, you are breathing the smoking straight in your lungs instead of sucking it and then swallowing it.

Don't take the fattest rips possible, take a hit big enough so you can inhale a decent amount of air after you take the hit. I had the same problem, I would take fat bong rips then swallow it and start burping up a shitload of smoke. I would always feel shitty afterwards too.

Oh my goodness once in a while if I take too big a hit by mistake I swallow too... it makes me feel so darned ill... I have to remember to take little girlie rips and then breathe in a TON of air with them!!!

Ive been smoking for a few years too now n we have spots mostly, but when i have a big one i sometimes swallow alot of smoke n it sometimes takes like 5 minutes for me to 'burp' the smoke back out lol, still gets me stoned:rasta:
