i know dro is technically short for hydroponic, but nowadays i dont see that as the true meaning, just as english words are changed and used differently in american, so is the same with slang terms, nobodys gives a fuck what dro "really" means, as far as im concerned, "hydro"=hydroponic while "dro"=good weed and thats that, same with "chron", "flame" "fire" etc. i can understand kush or haze since these ARE strains but hydroponic or not, to me dro is dro and i aint guna change my whole language perspective just because some stoners think the difference between hydro and regular shit is like the fuckin bible and if we dont use YOUR slang correctly we're going to hell, i dont think so

hey, i thought this thread was done with. all i wanted was to point out how dro is indeed not a strain, hydroponically grown herb does not guarantee its quality, and that any strain can be grown using hydro methods. someone has to mention it before another smoker is fooled. im just tired of this little word that causes so much MISINFORMATION. and i ahte when people use in incorrectly. so there you go, i was trying to clear things up. i may be a jackass, but at least i know the truth.

Yup, it is pathetic to me when some people want to act all superior to another type of lingo. Everyone knows 'dro' is short for hydroponics (well many people I know understand that anyhow), we just use 'dro' for slang...

Schwag = fertilized plant usually from marijuana farms in Mexico
Dro = unfertilized female plants with a higher % of THC

There's no lows - mids - highs bullshit. $50 for an O of schwag and $12 for a g of 'dro'. Desiger strains $15 - $25 a g.

That's just how we do it here in the major city I live in and if you went around asking for some dank or chronic weed you would get a stare... Some know what you're talking about but it just isnt the lingo.
