youre going to find that most people who dont look anything up on it are still going to call good weed dro and not want to listen when you say they are wrong. i tried telling this to a friend awhile back saying that all it is is the same weed but you can get bigger yields cause the oxygen goes straight to the roots(i may not have been right, but i was closer than him) and he replied by saying no the yields on hydro grows are a lot smaller but just much better weed. that wasnt the first time it had happened.

That's actually a pretty good explanation, that is easy for a nongrower to understand. A properly set up hydro system gives great oxygenation in the root zone, allowing for more efficient uptake of nutrients.

i know dro is technically short for hydroponic, but nowadays i dont see that as the true meaning, just as english words are changed and used differently in american, so is the same with slang terms, nobodys gives a fuck what dro "really" means, as far as im concerned, "hydro"=hydroponic while "dro"=good weed and thats that, same with "chron", "flame" "fire" etc. i can understand kush or haze since these ARE strains but hydroponic or not, to me dro is dro and i aint guna change my whole language perspective just because some stoners think the difference between hydro and regular shit is like the fuckin bible and if we dont use YOUR slang correctly we're going to hell, i dont think so
