What can happen depends on this! If they own, they can lose their (and your) home. They will still owe whatever they are paying, but not have anything to show for it! Lawyers for you will eat up what little money they have left!

If they rent, they "just" face immediate eviction. Have you ever been homeless? It is not fun (yes, I have, but before I had kids). And of course, they will still need lawyers for you, or they might let you have a public defender- in which case, kiss your arse goodbye! PDs will, at best, get you a plea deal, but you will likely do some time and be on probation (with drug testing) for quite a while.

What you are thinking of doing is disrespectful of your parents. Why not just get some seeds started, just sprouting them, and then "go on a picnic/hike" in some well hidden spot? Don't put everything your parents have worked for (and your own future) at stake just because you want to grow cheap bud!

Since you are in the Bay area, why not get medically legal? It will require both of your parents agreeing to your using (at least that's what my MMJ specialist demands) + $100-$150. There are enough sleazy doctors who will give you a recommendation if you have the cash. On the up side, you will be able to grow 6 plants with little hassle!
