How do you know that the strands that you say they are... actually are those strands?

Where does everyone get their seeds? Friends? Dealers? Online?

Basically I want some seeds. Don't know where to go to get them.

1) Can you use the seeds that come in a standard bag of weed?

2) Which ones produce buds? How can you tell the difference?

3) How do you guys know which strands are which. Do you guys buy the seeds with the strands already denominated? Or do you buy that type of weed, and then use the seeds?

4) Where do you guys recommend I get some seeds???

I have a whole lot to learn about growing, I realize that... But I have to start somewhere... Any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Hey thanks, those of you who are not just dicks. It was like my first ten minutes on here so... I have since read more threads and I know alot more. I did try a couple of those seed sites and they say that seeds can't be sent in america? I'll check out some more.

dr.chronic.com, Gypsy Nirvana's seedboutique.com all deliver to US no problem. Gypsy Nirvana's standard seeds are cheap too.

As far as being dicks - even a small amount of effort on your part would have yielded your answers...but you wanted us to do all your homework for you instead....I'm sure you can understand why it perturbed some. There are literally 100's of threads, all about seed strains just a few mouse clicks away. We are all willing to help but please put forth at least some effort.

yeah, ive ordered from drchronic.com, shipped to us, took about 1 week, over christmas. i used that site because i could order with a credit card, rather than waiting for a money order to go through. pick up some of the nirvana or KC brains, it'll only run you about 20 bucks, and you get a pack of free seeds when you order one. if you are a member of the forum he advertizes on his site, and mention your user name, he will give you 10% off too. this way, you'll get some cheaper seeds that you know what they are, but won't feel as bad when you screw up, as if you spent 10x the price.
