You did the right thing by going to the 18/6.That is nature's veg cycle.Here in Ga.It get's to be about 17 1/2 hours at peek and then gradually decreases.Thus,forcing flowering at about 14-15 hours of light,depending on the strain.I mostly grow an indica or an afgahan.They seem to be the best yeilders.I like to flower at about 12 inches indoors.If you live where the days and season is a bit longer,then go with a sativa/indica.We just got hunters to worry about here.Mine will finish about first part of Sept.
