If it's in one baggie and not over a 1/4, here in Maine, you'll just end up with a fine. If the cop thinks you're driving under the influence of marijuana then you're on your way to the station.....it's hit or miss really. Just a tip, even if you're not a slob, keep a messy trunk....put some car trash in it, you know, like mcdonald's, burger king, soda cans or whatever....before you drive, hide your weed amongst the refuse and chances are, even if you're searched, without a dog that is, it will likely remain hidden and whatever you do, never keep it in an obvious spot.
