Your response has prooved nothing except that you yourself have fallen prey to propaganda. I have spent much of my time researching to come to the conclusions I have, not just a couple of hours in front of a Michael Moore film.


If Iraq is all about oil, Why the spike in gas prices? Why are the oil companies profits declining at a record pace? Take a look around you slick. There is a whole lot you need that oil for anyway. How do you think the food gets to your grocery stores and restaraunts? How do you think your clothes, CDs, video games, mail, and whatever else you are into and depend on for your very survival gets delivered? Though it may not be the cleanest, the internal cumbustion engine is still the most reliable, efficient and effective mode of transport we have, and until somebody comes up with something better, we are stuck with it. Without that "evil" oil, our economy collapses. That may not mean anything to you, but those of us with common sense recognise that it is what separates us from third world countries. Without a strong economy, or any for that matter, we become Sierra Leone. That is not what I, for one, want for the future of my children.

Had you taken the time to research the book I informed you of, you would know that it is not just about bashing the muslim religion. In fact the author supports the true muslims and points out the difference between them and the fanatic nutcases who want us, and you, dead. It has nothing to do with anything America has ever done to them as the propagandist media has brainwashed you to believe. It all boils down to a dilusion they have that anyone who does not worship as they do does not deserve to live. Victor Mordecai has an entire website and a years worth of newsletters devoted to the subject. He is somewhat of an authority on the subject as he has spent the last 20 years (probably more than you have been alive) studying Wahabi Islam. These are the guys who want to slice your head off. Now to educate you my young friend. First off, you are way off in your definition of fascism. It means to exalt nation and/or race above the individual. It stands for centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader (impossible with our system of checks and balances, not to mention many Bush hating Democrats in the Senate and Congress), severe economic and social regimentation (impossible in a free market society), and forcible suppression of opposition (show me the proof). This according to Webster's. Sadaam's Iraq is a good example of a fascist state.

Second, you are probably too young to know that the reason we went to Iraq the first time is because he invaded a helpless country. That is not something that any nation with even a slight concience could allow. In fact, we were backed by the UN and several dozen other nations in that skirmish (including Canada).
