Sources close to the Bush administration have warned that Tony Blair will have to choose between the EU's pursuit of the diplomatic track and a more hardline approach from the White House on Iran.

It is my understanding that.......................

Seen from Washington it means that Iran is a hostile, terror-sponsoring state, meddling in Iraq and on the verge of acquiring weapons with which it could target Tel Aviv (or any where else in range).

The European view, has sought to negotiate a uranium enrichment freeze rather than confront Tehran. Iran, seen from the European point, is a more complex situation, because of its culture and recent history, it sees itself as a player on the world stage and its endless foot-dragging over nuclear inspections, seen in this light, is inward looking, defensive and as much about pride as hostile intentions.

It is my opinion that Blair will stick with the White House approach. Blair has shown complete solidarity with Bush and will not change on an issue that requires,in my opinion, even more solidarity.

I believe that war will deffinatly go ahead in Iran and it is another brick in the wall for new world order.
