If it was on school property they can search no matter what. I NEVER parked on school prop. Two of my friends got high as hell before school one day, they actually got caught by a teacher saying that they were high, they go to search there car and it is off school prop. so they couldn't do shit. They ended up doing nothing to them.

Okay, so my school has this new "no tolerance" shit going on which they failed to tell us students about. Anyways it happened almost about a month ago now. I had just finished my TAKS test, and as I stepped out of the room to go back to SAC(detention), my principal says that the drug dog has shown some interest in my truck, so I follow him out to the parking lot. The prosecutorâ??s office must file a petition with the court charging you with an offense(s) within at least forty-eight court hours after your arrest. Your first hearing must be the following day.

With just a stem and seeds what did they charge you with? Did they read you your rights? You need a good lawyer because if you only had a few seeds they've got NOTHING and holding you or sending you anywhere violates YOUR rights. What do you parents have to say about this?

I've been through this crap with my son....here's my story

My son gave a girl a phone number of a mule that he got from his brother and this girl got caught with 5 lbs...so they called it a conspiracy...they need 3 people to charge a conspiracy so they got her, the supplier and my son.

lots kids in school knew that connection it was no real secret but they made a huge deal out of the arrest because it was on a school bus crossing from Canada to the US....

they asked my son to take a lie detector test He did and was asked if he knew this guy and if he EVER smoked. He passed with flying colors. SO then they said oh well it is not admissible in court!!...Then why the hell did they bother?! He was even on tape on the school bus telling this girl DON"T DO IT....They still charged him because they wanted him to say he had seen my middle son smoking pot!! My middle son had been caught with a joint so they needed a scape goat..he ran away because the keystone cops scared the hell out of him.

They wanted my youngest to rat on his brother and when he refused they put him in jail! They believed his brother was involved which he wasn't. He was home with me so I knew he was telling the truth.
I went to the principal's office and talked to him and he tells me "Man it looks like your son is getting a bum rap!" He knew he was innocent...but did nothing and I could not figure out why...

The entire student council testified on my sons behalf but they drug it out forever.....it cost us a fortune and the truth finally came out. My son was innocent and the judge could not believe they ever charged him! It took almost a year!

so now we are in the process of suing the school and the police department because it was the principal that alerted the dealer to the bust (he was later fired) he was sleeping with a lady on the education board that also dealt weed and they were using kids as their cover!!! The cop even put a gun to my 17 year old sons head and said "I am the law" can you believe that crap!! I want his badge so bad!! This case was so blown up it was in Time magazine and has been in US and Canada newspapers.

I still get angry thinking about it....its been 4 years and it is still not over!

I feel for you Smoke2....I hope you have supportive parents.

Yeah, I knew some ppl that happened to in high school, over 2 seeds. That 0 tolerance shit is such bullshit. They take it way too fucking far, its like a power trip for most school officials. And ppl wonder why kids get sick of this shit and start shooting. The world has gone to hell in a handbasket if you ask me, and its only going to get worse. Before long you won't even be able to take a shit in your own home without someone chaperoning you to make sure you wipe from front to back. I'm about ready to say fuck this country and move to Spain</rant>

Lol, sry, not much of that makes sense, but man i'm pissed. Sorry that happend man, I fucking hate the nazis employed by the public education system. The shit they get away with is outrageous. I don't know when the schools quit having to obey the laws the rest of the country follows, but apparently you forfeit all your rights until you graduate.
