It really depends on how you have them taken out, and how deeply they're impacted. Two of mine were growing in sideways, so the surgeon cut into my gum and cracked them in half to extract them. You can bet those two "sockets" gave me tons of pain for a week or so. My upper two weren't as impacted, therefore healed faster.

Yes, and no sucking. Don't want to suck those blood clots out!

Wooow. I think mines are starting to bother me more and reading this thread makes me not even wanna get them taken out. If you're in pain so bad that you can't even go to school..yikes. Because I know I'm not gonna be takin any vikes and all that shit . I hate the shit life throws at us...

thats how my bottom left side was, they had to cut into the gum....but thats the only part of my mouth that ever hurts, and ive been smoking normally since the op. i have noticed that smoking out of a little pipe hurts more than a bong because with a pipe im using my mouth to suck but with the bong im using my diaphram and no mouth sucking.

hey orangeman, the pain is never that bad, just puffy chipmonk cheecks, people will think your storing acorns in there. and i agree with you on the medicine they throw at us, but i caved in and starting taking hydrocodone and ibprofen in the morining when i wake up. take care
