Questions on types of bowls and cleaning bongs.

Alright, a two-question-in-one thread extravaganza, hold onto your seats all.

First question, I have an acrylic one-foot bong, and I was wondering what method is the best to clean it. It's been hitting wayyy too harsh lately and I know it needs it. I usually boil my glass bowl in boiling saltwater but I wasn't sure if that'd work for the bong.

Second, what are these different types of bowls I keep hearing about? Like spoons, and chillums, and other such things, how do you differentiate between the different types?

get some rock salt and alcohol (purer the better, try to avoid the 70%iso)
pour in some alki
pour in some salt
shake shake shake
rinse
repeat if needed

different pipes have different styles

i dunno what to do about your bong mate, but i would highly recommend NOT boiling your pipe. extreme temperatures can crack glass pretty easily. what i used to do to clean the pipe, was to just run it under warm water, get water into the insides of it and just shake it, works just as fast, its safer, and your house wont smell like but!
