about a teaspoon-tablespoon per gallon of unsulfured molasses. Also sweet supposedly stabilizes pH something fierce so it might help you!

yes I am late.. Im usually late cuz im Learning... good thing your here. that sweet as a Ph stablizer sounds like a good deal to me.

I feed every watering. but small amounts.. right now its. 10ml Botanicare Pure Bloom and 2.5 ml of BIO-GENSIS HIGH TIDE 1/4 teaspoon of epsom salt. the lower leafs have yellowed a small small bit. I think they may need a bit more nutes. Plus I ahve been giving them this amount since the start of flowering.

Botanicare recomends. 30ml per gallon at this stage and 5 to 10ml of high tide. but high tide contains high amount of K so using them both I think I have found a good balance avoiding burning. I personally think I mayjust add more HIGH TIDE as It seeems like a solid product, and it contaions good minerals and N its sea weed extract.. ALL VEGAN to for those animal lovers. I am really happy with the BIO GENSIS stuff I am thinking of getting more supplements made by them soon.

P,.S these plamts look as good as they do thanks to Stinky... everyone listen up to her... you are my hero.... my plant hero

thanks for looking all... love the comments...

HOW ARE THEY LOOKING? 3 Weeks Flower,

Ohhey! Lay off the epsomsalts! You may be locking yourself out there... ES is a great FIX for like a noticeable deficiency... it isn't a more is better sort of nute really... typically up to 4 applications in a plants life cycle is more than enough! In fact I rarely put it in the water, but rather foliar feed it because too much ES CAN easily lock out other nutes.
Awwwwww KD you are so fucking sweet I want to give you a big noogie!

I was thinking that thats why I was adding the Epsom Salt. But I'm pretty sure I am going to have to trust Stinky on this and stop giving it to my plants. I believe the Purpal stems and Veins is from my Ph not being Bang On. Therefore locking out vital parts that the plants need to be lush green. the main one being P, The charts all read that N and K have a Ph range of 6 -7however P has a range of 6.5 to 7 I think this is what causing my major problmes.

I am adding Lime to the top of my soil and watering with 8.0 Ph water, I still have yet to get my Ph Run Off above 6.0 - 6.2, I think I will have to add more lime to the top. As right now I have added about 10ml to the tops of each pot. perhaps ill beef it up next watering.

next grow I got to find some Compost. In the summer I have made plans to have a small compost on my balcony.

HOW ARE THEY LOOKING? 3 Weeks Flower,

MAgnesium def will show in other ways first.
But phosphorous lockout will show up as purple stems and pets right away

Be really careful liming the soil surface so that you dont get hot spots!!! Then you get to see what a REAL pH mess looks like... blotches, spots, parts of the plant all weird, some parts fine, omg!!! Continuing to water with the 8 is a little safer imo

Good plan Stinky,, there really is no way to evenly spread that lime over the soil. I'd rather be safe I think Ill stop that practice. It hasn't made the Ph go up any anyways...

HOW ARE THEY LOOKING? 3 Weeks Flower,

Now for extra credit, does anyone remember the simplest organic buffer soil amendment?
Here's a hint: You rake them off the lawn every fall unless you are lazy like me and try to con a MAN into doing it, lol!!!

But seriously your plants look better every time I stop by!

Okay here's the answer!!! Composted leaves!!! Oak leaves are a little acidic and take forever to decompose, but I hear a rumour that there are maple trees in Canada.

So here's your compost heap project:
Take an old laundry hamper, a sturdy plastic one. Actually 3 smaller ones is going to be easier.
Fill 2 of them with dead leaves and put them on your balcony
    Add a bit of water
Maybe some compost starter!!! Or myco-stim... or any of those organic treats... That will make your life easier.
    Keep moist
Every so often, dump a full basket into an empty basket so the heap gets turned upside down and gets aerated
    Keep it moist!
    Enjoy!!!!

HOW ARE THEY LOOKING? 3 Weeks Flower,

    Sweet deal....

thanks Stinky,,, just curious though, can I add my left over vegtable waste and stuff from my kitchen to that pile. Or should I not mix leafs and kitchen waste togetehr?

I got a composting book and they say I can make compost on my balcony in a bag by adding my kitchen waste and mixing it with dirt from any garden or park. Then mix the bag up and leave it in the sun and turn it every few days. 2 weeks they say I will have compost. just dont use sterile soil cuz then it wont break down the waste. I should probs grab some of that compost starter to make my life easier like you said.

I was planning on doing this but with a bucket or somthing other than a bag

maple leafs may be hard to find right now as most of them have been raked up by the city. But im sure I can find some. If i look hard.

HOW ARE THEY LOOKING? 3 Weeks Flower,

Most cities have a leaf dump. My old boss is a Nova Scotian and says that his town had a great composting program and compst was free to the public. But I guess you'd want a truck to haul it, lol!!!
I guess you might as well add kitchen waste except that it smells funny and I'd be likely to avoid it in a BALCONY compost bin, ewww. Unless you never go out there and hate your neighbors lol!
But you really want to have some [mostly] leaf material because of the yummy humic acids that get released as the leaves break down. They are the magic ingredient.

HOW ARE THEY LOOKING? 3 Weeks Flower,

yeah leafs sounds like a better plan, I don't like stinky garbage. Unless I find a spot outside the building to do some somposting, like in the park in the back of my aprtment.

Cool thanks for all the good stuff Stinky..
