    Help! Is this bud rot?

I just began to trim my plant for harvest, and noticed a purple patch in the middle. The leaves had died and easy to pick out. If it is what should i do, do i trim around it? I sure hope it isnt but i dont wanna risk smokin it!

    Help! Is this bud rot?

Hi am new here but have grown many times and have a few years experiance.

Great looking plant bud but I am sorry to say that it is mold/budrot i have had it before myself What is your humidity? You cannot really cut round it the only option is to remove the whole bud. Keep a very close eye on all your girls. How long do you have left ? And no it is not safe to smoke it bin it.

You got the rot man. That needs cutting down now. Next time try dehumidifier on 24/7. Good air extraction is also important. Their are products that can help. Silicone in the root zone and some foliar sprays such as vitarlink. Under watering during the last couple of weeks can also be helpful if budrot is a problem. Good luck.

    How'd Low

How does the plant smel? (Nasty id say)l. Ive had bud rot before also. A good sign is the fact that the leaves just came away without tugging on them. The rot rots everything hense the leafs coming off easy. i had a look at the second pic and it does look like rot. What can you do Bin it. Id say most of the bud is rotting. How can you tell like somebody already say bend the bud if it looks brown it sure is rot. I assume this is the main cola?. Its usualy were it starts because of the dense ness off the bud get ur self a humidity meter because your conditions are to blame and it could very well happen again if you dont deal with your Air....better luck next time..
try a dehumidifier i have to use one as humidity at this time off the year can be up too 70 80 percent..Very dangeroud

    My two Cents D

come on man all the hairs have turned, optimal time for me is when 70% of hairs turn not 100%. when i was inexperienced i use to let it ripen to much and mould always came, but since reading on this site 3 - 4 years ago I read a post that stated when hairs cover 70% of plant the thc's at its best, and let me tell you it does be far nicer to smoke.
