I usually don't cough when I get high but for some odd reason I find that when ever I do smoke so much at one time that I do end up coughing..I end up getting higher than I usually do when I don't cough . And I don't mean a little cough, I mean like 20 seconds of straight coughin' lol!

That's what I was going to mention. I actually have an associates in psychology (haha). I did good, all A's, but the big thing that kept me from going all the way was the time factor. I just wasn't sure I wanted to devote so much of my life to studying before going out into the real world. Ironically, I still ended up being in school for 10 years total, getting a BA in East Asian Studies and a BS in International Business. And people wonder why I'm not too anxious to go back and get my MBA. LOL.

My theory on the "coughing gets you higher" theory is twofold. First, as already pointed out, you get lightheaded from it since, along with your body's attempt to get rid of the smoke, you're also getting rid of all your oxygen. Much more than if you just exhale or even cough from something like having a cold. Second, the reason you're probably coughing is that you're taking really big hits, hence, more THC. Three small, non-cough hits will do the trick and be a lot more comfortable in the long run.

I don't cough, almost ever. Unless I pull a really fat grav hit then I cough a lil, but its like when you hold it in and more like a hiccup.

But other than that, no, I don't cough. I get plenty high, too.

My smoking buddie even coughs on purpose when he doesn't need to. He says it gets him higher, but that's just him coughing and making youreslf light-headed so it's pretty stupid.
