What i am wondering is: will they continue to grow through the bottom of the pots, the plants are not very big and yet they are already poking through. If they grow any farther down they will hit the bottom of the tray and start polking through the sides. It has arleady happened to one plant and its roots are being exposed to the light. I was thinking if it really got bad i could put a thin layer of clay pellets or rockwool on the bottom of the tray around the pots but I dont know if this would be a good idea, any ideas?
cuttz Reviewed by cuttz on . first hydro grow Hey all, Love the site its been really helpful so far with getting me set up... So this is my first attempt at indoor growing and i have set up a small ebb and flow table in addition to some plants growing in soil. Anyways today i look at my plants to find that the roots have compleatly grown through the bottoms of the pots on the table. I was kind of feraing this due to the fact the pots are so small. Is this a bad thing? I arent roots not susposed to be exposed to any light? Should I do Rating: 5
