Kk, do you know what a "mature" pollen pod looks like inside? Does it have a different color or is it dry or..

Here are some pics of different hermies. The last one is far gone. The mature pods are yellowish. If you got your bean when it was green, no harm done.

All ya can really do is snip 'em when ya see 'em. You are very fortunate in that it was a discrete bean instead of a banana buried in the bud.
