Why are you adding sugar to the water? and who on this board or friend told you to do such a thing?

Many people use molasses as a nute(?) for some reason or other. I believe the "sugar water" thing is stoner data degradation of this (valid) process. I.e., grower tells stoned buddy "I use blah blah blah long chemical names, molasses, blah blah blah...", all stoner buddy remembers next day is beautiful buds and something about molasses, which gets passed on to another stoner, and eventually molasses becomes sugar water, and ya end up with people watering their plants with Kool-Aid to make it purple, too.
