southern cali hilkers report herei am not liking this winter at all
the rivers are very low and things look shitty
i think im going up north to the sequoias
or at least to kern river area
so cal is depressing this yearLove is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

southern cali hilkers report hereKitchen creek falls..that sounds very familiar but can't say I've been. I'll look it up thanks! As for Cedar Creek sure, been there a long time ago..I should go back sometime now that you remind me. Originally Posted by friendowl Originally Posted by friendowl

It says Mt. Baldy is the largest and steepest ski resort in So Cal?? I always thought Mammoth was. Anyway it looks fucking cool and I sure would love to hike it up and kick it on top for a night or two. Gorgonio looks like an amazing place too. And it's not even that far!

My friend I might just take you up on that challenge!
How long does it usually take you to get on top of those babies?
