i ride a harley v-rod

I have a '76 "74" and a 2002 vtx 1800C. One of the best rides was a trip we took to Nova Scotia. Another is the canyon lands in the Southwest. Someday i'd love to ride to Alaska.

We took a summer bike trip from Vt. to Quebec, New Hampshire, Maine, New Brunswick, Stayed a week in Prince Edward Island and tripped up and down Nova Scotia back in the early 80s. I was riding my 1974 74" Electra-Glide (Shovelhead). That was a real nice vacation.

I once wheelied a C70 in someones living room, they said it couldn't be done. :wtf:
I hit the wall and the bike and I ended in a very undignified heap but it was a great laugh, the petrol fumes nearly killed us but we were so drunk and stoned it didn't matter. :thumbsup:

I loved that old Honda! Mine was about a 74 model in nearly perfect cond. metallic gold flake. a street version. 17" wheels I think. 3 speed with a heel toe shifter. wish I still had it!

I started on a little ninja ex500 gave that to my wife and got a 1998 Ninja ZX-7R I've down some work to it I polished the frame and some engine work and added about 30hp rejetted, k&n filter, new sprockets etc., now since I wrecked I'm going to be bringing it inside and doing full custom plastics strip and polish the rims and touch up the frame again. NY winters are long so I should have more then enough time I also sold my Honda Shadow plus some this year for a 1994 heritage softail for my dad since he bought me my first bike, only 800 miles on a 94.
Here's some pics of the Ninja not the best angles and there before I polished the frame, they day after I finished I wrecked still rideable but not so good looking.

Been riding since the 70s.Nothing better for clearing the ol' head,works almost as well for me as meditation.I love the old girl just wish I had a bike that was a bit more roadworthy (brakes!!!!).

My current bike is the maroon and white 60 pan and the flamed 51 is my old bike that I had in the 80s.

What I wouldnt give for a bike that didnt take me two weeks every spring to get ready for the season and had brakes and stuff didnt break off every 100 miles....I bitch alot but Id never give up the old girl.I actually enjoy working on her,in some ways its a bit of a stress reliever. While I bitch about it,every spring I put Marvin Gaye on the CD player and rub the old girl down,just a little "alone" time for me and my bike.Yup I can hear the music now..."Lets get it on..ooo weee"

I just miss having a dependable bike some times
