I'm not sure what is meant by "cleaned/non-cleaned" buds, but if I purchase a bag that I feel is too leafy, I will trim the buds for sure.

I recently acquired a bag of some recently harvested/freshly cured godbud from this grower I fortunately know, but he did a half-assed job on the trimming imo.

The buds didn't smell as potent as they should have, so I took some simple nosehair trimmers (unused of course) and manicured the dry buds myself. Obviously I was trimming smaller buds, the biggest being 4.7 g.

I find that giving your dry buds that are a bit leafy a little trim will bring out the buds' smell more. After trimming some of the dry leaves off, the buds started giving off that lifesaver/pinetree scent that Godbud is known for.
