Who already broke their New Year Resolution...

I also resolved to try and be neater around the house and so far today, I've been just as messy as usual. This one's going to be a gradual effort, and I may not succeed at it for many months. . . .

If you put it off for all of 2006 and waited until 2007 to resolve it, then you're not serious enough about it to follow through anyways.

lol! my resolution was to quit smoking cigarettes... but how can you have a beer without a cigarette? it's not right. how can you have a coffee without a cigarette? blasphemy!

it can be done and it will be done, but not right now. i enjoy pulverising this youthful body of mine.

Actually I'm quite positive, more positive than even you, although you don't see it because it soars right over your head.

This is now 2007. Will you need to be making any resolutions in 2008? Or are you going to deal with things right now and have your shit straight before 2008 gets here?

LOL, actually, I'm doing swimmingly with my resolution of no more cigarettes. Granted it's only been one day, it's still been okay.

And for our very bull-headed cityboy gone know-it-all, new years just gives people an excuse to make a change in their lives. Otherwise, some, like myself, probably wouldn't have given up or changed something about themselves until a few months later.

A new year is a new, clean slate.

It's not too hard to understand, so hopefully that knocks you down a peg or two
