Okay so my brother and a few of his mtes have started getting together and jamming.. My bro plays guitar, and hes amazing.. His best mate, Steve, plays guitar too, but to be honest he's not so good.. He just follows what my bro does.. And their mate, Ben, is a drummer.. Now, my bro just split up with his girlfriend, and his ex-girlfriend's flat-mate's boyfriend Chris (lol, the boyfriend of his girlfriend's flatmate, if that makes more sense) plays the bass guitar.. They've been getting together, playin a few covers, and writing a few songs.. Theyre pretty good, to be honest. They were gonna start playin a few local gigs (clubs, pubs, parties etc) for fun, and writing a few more songs.. But, Chris (the bass player) left because hes in another band that hes been with for alot longer and spends all his spare time practising with them. Now, I ply the drums, but the band already has a drummer, which is fair enough.. but now theyre short of a bass player, and my bro wasnt really up for trying to find a new bass player that has the spare time etc, so he asked me to fill in for Chris.. He bought a new bass guitar yesterday for me, and tonight he's gonna show me the basics of playing.. Then, on Monday night, im gonna go up to their band room, with my bro Mark, Steve and Ben, and play with them.. the only problem is ive never played guitar or the bass. I tried playin guitar once and i sucked at it, so i stuck with playin the drums. lol. So, basically, I have to learn to play (at least learn the basics competently) by Monday, or im gonna suck and theyre gonna find someone else.. My bro knows i cant play, but hes a great guitarist (like, seriously, hes easily a Grade 10) so he'll be able to teach me scales, chords, notes etc.. but im shitting myself.. im gonna suck lol But i really wanna play with them, coz theyre pretty fucking good, and its cool doin shit with my bro now that im old enough (hes 26).. so, there you go, what the hell am i gonna do? lol oh, and, you like my new signature? hehe its from Futurama
