yes thats correct, if someone clearly under the legal age is seen smoking in public the tobacco products will be confiscated, this is really hard typing in full english but i now realise that not many people understand me when i dont lol
lil josh Reviewed by lil josh on . In the news this morning... In England and Wales the legal age for buying tobacco products is being raised in October from 16 to 18. It's an attempt to stop kids under 16 buying tobacco illegally, and to deter younger people from taking up smoking. Personally I don't think there will be a huge drop in the number of underage smokers. I don't know, maybe I'm just bitter because I won't be able to buy cigarettes til November 2008 come October heh.
