How to almost always be able to tell if someone smokes

I get this negative stigma for all the nicknames for cannabis. Sometimes I use words like weed or pot but overall I prefer to call it cannabis

It's usually a safe bet to call it bud, just about anywhere. That way, if someone is sketchy or anything like that, then you can always cover and act like you're talking about the beer.


BTW: I fucking hate the name dope. Crack is also called dope, and herb shouldn't be named the same as crack.

Here are a couple ways to tell if someone definitely does not smoke:

• They call it "the pot"
• They use the phrase "using/taking drugs" when they talk about smoking up
• They think a roach is a cigarette butt
• They think a bag of smelly, green stuff is moldy tobacco that HAS to be thrown out NOW!

Yea, one way to know that someone DOESN'T smoke is if they call it 'dope'.

I too hate when it's called dope. And all the really anti-drug people call it dope and it pisses me off >: ( So that's a way to at least notice the people who hate it.

its not all about how people talk (but stoner lingo can be important).. but you can also tell by -

+ how people dress (not always but sometimes .. the hippy look is probably the most obvious
+their movie collection.. stoners have a lot of movies that make you think and of course the key stoner movies ;]
+look at their pointer finger.. is the tip a little black looking from them pushing the weed in the bowl down when they are smoking?

When I young and didn't smoke I actually called it marijuana. Quite embarassing. Since smoking I've consistently just used "weed". I sometimes use bud. I think one syllable words work best.
