How to almost always be able to tell if someone smokes

see for me if they are a smoker, they will call it either bud, ganja, dank, or some other slang terms...pot and weed normally refer to everyone else

this is how you tell, you get a bunch of people in a circle and throw a nug on the ground, whoever dives for it is a toker

I called it pot or weed before I smoked. I call it bud or green now. or nugg if its good.

My friend and his mom used to call it pot about 10 years ago when we started smoking. I thought it was kind of weird because it wasn't that common for teenagers to call it pot, we always said buddha, buds, weed, things like that. (He obviously got the word from his mom) Now that I've been smoking more and I call it pot a lot of the time. It's concise and fast and everyone knows what you're talking about. Sometimes I say chronic, bud or weed.

Plus half the time you just say "let's smoke a joint" or "hit the bong". ... hit the bong, good idea.:bonghit:

I think it has to do with age group and location. Older people (mid to late 40s) I know call it doobie, hootchm grass. Down a bit in age (35-40) call it pot, dope, herb, smoke. 30 n down call it weed, herb, bud.

Here are a couple ways to tell if someone definitely does not smoke:

• They call it "the pot"
• They use the phrase "using/taking drugs" when they talk about smoking up
• They think a roach is a cigarette butt
• They think a bag of smelly, green stuff is moldy tobacco that HAS to be thrown out NOW!

I'm done for now, but I bet you all have some good ones to add. Between religious relatives and square employers I've heard some of these and had to control myself from bursting out laughing in their faces.

I hate the word dope with a passion. I don't mind pot as much but it still annoys me. Funnily enough, i never use the word reefer. I always call it bud or ganja, or green, or dank nugz.
