Yes. I dont trust people in general and maintaining control (such as in a date by taking the lead and paying) is a way of protecting myself... It sets me 'above' the person or people I'm with so in the end they cant hurt me... They are just 'followers'. To be in a equal situation requires trust... I dont trust most people... But when I do trust I strongly desire equality and even get off on letting her (only women never men) have some control.
