Incredible headaches during stimulation

Whenever I get stimulated, whether it is by my girlfriend or myself I get massive headaches. I can barely walk, talk, or even open my eyes during them. The last one lasted about 30 minutes and I could not walk or open my eyes. It is still pounding in my head 4 hours later, but not as bad. Does anyone know why this is?

Best to ask a doctor of course, but it probably has something to do with the fact that your blood-flow will be increased, and thus go into your head a little faster.

Sorry not gonna go to a doctor about it.

Maybe if I ignore it, it'll go away?


Anyhow if anyone has suggestions on possible ways to fix it, they are appreciated. Will smoking help? I havn't smoked in three weeks.

Smoking won't necessarily help, Leaf, and it might make the headaches worse.

Sexual stimulation causes pressure on the back of the head, usually from the straining and muscle tension that occurs. If, as you've stated on that other thread, you were thought to have a potential neural tube defect when you were in utero, you may indeed have some squeezing or malformation in the back of your head that causes that pressure to be worse (something milder than spina bifida but which can contribute to headaches). I also know from your profile pic and another of your posts in which you said you were considering obesity surgery that you're overweight, and that puts pressure on the back of the head, too, and can sometimes worsen headaches. That's sometimes referred to as "pseudotumor cerebri," which is basically a pressure-related, back-of-head headache that sometimes has other symptoms, too. It's fairly common in significantly overweight people, and sexual activity is one of the things that can aggravate the headache pain.

There are basically two types of sex headaches:

The first, and most common, is the benign coital headache, which tends to occur on a regular basis during or after sex, and is relatively harmless.

The second type is the "new onset" severe headache during sex. This is a first time headache, which the patient generally characterizes as the worst headache of their life. This type of sex headache is a serious emergency until proven otherwise. Such a headache is often due to an acute brain hemorrhage or other serious condition. Fortunately, this type of first onset headache is fairly unusual, but when it does occur it can represent a life threatening emergency, which requires emergency evaluation and treatment.

Okay that sounds pretty good. But I have lost 38 pounds since october and I am still losing, and i weigh less than I have in a while, and i havn't had them before. I'll go see a doctor about it. I just got my insurance card in the mail.

Well, we have had sex before and I never got them before. But now the past four times ive gotten em.

Could it be migraines?

Also I forget to breath a lot during the day. When I am concentrating on something. So that my be a little bit of it.
