Thats it, were done. I know people have been through longer relationships and 7 months doesn't seem that long but holy shit was it ever. She was like my first real relationship.

She hated me smoking weed and I was doing that WELL before I got involved with her. And like some guys I fell for her HARD and tried to quit but kept slipping up. Noooww were done. This blows.

Good fix, Skink. It's true that lots of women feel it's their duty to try and "mold" or change guys instead of simply finding one that fits their needs a little better. Not sure what that's about. Fear, perhaps, of continuing to look. The thing is, a long-term relationship is a heck of a lot happier when you let the other person simply be himself. I learned that early in life, fortunately, and I think that's why we've stayed married for 24 years.

I hope so, too, Nation 1ne. But once you're married, just be aware that life still throws you obstacles even then. It's learning how to overcome them together that keeps you on track.

Oh yeah, I can imagine that's the case. But I want to get married for other reasons....mainly because I really do love her. I met her when I was 15 and she was 14 we have been on and off for 5 years, each time breaking up reluctantly. Anyway this time around things have grown a lot more serious but we are both going to University. I'm staying local and she is going to London or possibly further, but we want to make this work so much. I can't even begin to describe in words how much I love this girl, and fear loosing her a great deal, I know she fears loosing me too. I always look up to people like yourself and see you as a glimpse of hope for me and my girlfriend, so thank you.

Hmmm maybe this post is a lil' too lovey dovey lol.

Oh my god I've just read what thread I'm posting in too. Shit man, I am so sorry.

All I can say is if it's meant to be then it will happen. If you really miss her that much and honestly feel you have lost your soul mate then swallow that pride and ask her to give things another go. Also explain to her that weed is a big part of your life and she should accept you for who you are, it's not like you're imposing your beliefs on her.

you want to get married for steady pussy
steady pussy leads to steady kids
kids leads to no more pussy
no more pussy leads to divorce because the whole reason you get married is for the pussy
    divorce leads to single dad

    how to fix this
    get a vasectomy

Well Void you are probably better off. Go find yourself a toking girlfriend. Less drama.

deltron: I hope you get married for more than that. There is no guaranteed anything in marriage.
