CFL question

Hey everyone, i recently well yesterday switch over to cfl from tube flouros and my question is i have 2 - 26w bulb each putting out 100w and 1600 lumens. Is this enough for one plant? oh yeh there like 2-3 inches above her too. they are cool daylight bulbs if that helps. thanks again

that will get you through the veg stage i assume they are the 26 watt 6500k bulbs sold everywhere.when you go to flower even though it is only one plant I would suggest putting in 3 more 2700-3000k bulbs and lots of mylar or wallart space blankies. go ahead and leave the the two 6500k bulbs going during flower the 2700-3000 do not put out much light the two 6500k bulbs will help this.

Hey pabuds, i've just finished growing 2 plants using 160 watts of cfls. The buds smoke nice but i've not got as much as i'd hoped. For my next grow i'm gonna put at least another 100 w in there.

2 x 26w is enough to start your plant for a week or two but you'll need to get more. I'd say you want a minimum of 100w per plant when you use cfls (assuming you grow an average sized indoor plant.)

Yeh they are 26w bulbs but they say it puts out 100w a piece and i have two of them on one plant. when its big enough im gonna clone get more light of course and for flowering i just bought a 400w hps system

400 watt nice when you move your plant under the 400 watt i would veg under it for awhile after being under 2 cfl's it will love that burst of light and grow quickly try it for a week or two
