I have been working with an online friend Redwood Roots all week explaining how I manage a 3 part room to maximize yields. Being a 100% medical garden we have a lot of small yielding phenotypes so instead of worrying about a plant like Tiny Bomb giving me 40 grams finished medicine I just make sure I am turning her around every 50 days.

Lets look behind door number 3..


I accomplish this 50 day turn around by lots of labor and a working knowledge of my strains. I know that Soul Cleaner and Tiny Bomb and SpaceJill will be done about 50 days and I can harvest em and make some room for others to spread out. Candy store comes down a few days later and then soon to follow is Apollo-13. That leaves JTR and JC to finish and I usually completely swap all the plants at this time.

The bud room with a few ready to buds and the JC and OV in the back.

Also and this will toss you so follow along, Once my veg room plants are the right height I flip the timer and start budding them early. Males and any plants that have lagged behind are left under the 400 MH to mature a bit longer. You can see the plants in veg have already started stretching a bit.

So I remove all the plants from the main 2K room and re affix the floor tarp with staples and sweep up well. I replace the pest strips and vacuum out the A/C filter. If they need it I remove hood lens and clean away bugs and clean with Windex. A dirty glass can really kill your lumens. Vacuum the floor remove all those pesky dead yellow leaves ( Damn Soil Growers) and the rooms ready to load. I like to place JC in the rear and then the A-13â??s. The rear lamp is a 1K HPS sunmaster deluxe. I position each plant so that each growing head fits into the slot provided by the other. In about 7 days I will go tie all the stretching plants down.

In they go,

In the front we add Soul Cleaner, Candy Store, Orange Velvet the JTRâ??s and the new JCBâ??s. The front lamp is a 1100 watt Sunmaster MH. I am considering running the Hortilux ultra blue it is supposed to prevent stretch.

Notice the nice uniform height of each strain. These do not all grow the same speed as I run many strains. I clone the slow ones first to give them a head start. I clone the tall stretchers last and top them hard and tie them up to keep all plants as close to the same size as possible.

I have been fine tuning this 3 room system for almost 7 years straight with one change and thatâ??s the addition of the 400 for males instead of just some flos. We also donâ??t use Co2. You can see the difference in the Way back thread but as I say we really donâ??t need any more weed so I focus on having the best weeds.
You can see these weeds loaded and ready for lights on!

The smaller 1K veg area also shown this is used both to veg in and bud in using the manual moving method.

Well day 45 here and as the bud room swells to completion over the next 15 days itâ??s time to take clones. The plants in veg have been under 18/6 since this same task was done on the last crop.
If you follow my 3 area set up you know that by some manual labor and lots of close attention I am able to load a crop every 50 days. It is going to be real hard this time as I have some monster plants that finish late that are not going to fit into the shorter veg room so I will have to work it out.
The Bud room is completely packed with wall to wall towering colas in the rear and shorter sticky bushes in the front.

Clones are taken from plants in veg just prior to budding.

The plants in the main room mature and develope buds as the clones take root in room 1 and the plants in Veg room 2 grow up. The plants are budding nicely and starting to smell just a bit.

Night temps run around 70 the A/C is set just to dehumidify mainly. BTW I remove and wash my window unit well inside with disenfectant and anti microbal wash to prevent mold slime a grow room A/C gets way funky.


You cant see the small 14" box fan in the rear or the 465 Vortex moving air as well as a 12" osilating fan but its a wind tunnel in here to make the stems stronger and prevent air stagnation.

To recap
Day 40 veg room healthy and at 14-16â?� tall with multi heads its time for JC and SQ to be budded these tallest plants determine my flip time as there my tallest. The 2 JTR and 1 A-13 will be manual removed each day at 6 am and placed in sun room to give them some more size. The rest of the room will start budding at lights out.



I will start harvesting soon taking Tiny Bomb first and then Soul Cleaner. Just a few more days till 54 like Wednesday and I chop SQ Charlie, this will allow me to spread out the monsters you see in the back to finish and have less shading and crowding.
Whatâ??s cool is this is when JC really packs on the weight and hopefully so will the JCB.


Money Shots Coming up

So this Agent Orange was taken out of the back of the main bud room a few days ago so you can see how big each plant can get. This strain grows fast and gets tall in bud so you can see she was heavily topped and trained and now shes just a mammoth girl with buds everywhere. A plant of this size will yield close to 5 full Jars when finished close to 6 zipps.

This give you a good idea of how the room produces, not all plants yield this well but running 12 plants through here every 50 days ( 2 weeks pre bud in Veg room plus 6 weeks in main bud room.

Same room different cycle. I run these three rooms like Tom Ford making sure every aspect is firing on all cylinders.
Seed plants are also started and vegged in room 2 untill clones can be taken and plants are ready to bloom.
