it sucks seeing all the people here bashing on this guy for what he believes. i mean its really depressing to see all these people being so close-minded. personally, i dont agree with very much he said, but in actuality all beliefs are equal to one another, seeing as we have no way to prove any single belief. for all i know, mosiah could be absolutely 100% correct.
difference is beautiful, there would be no beauty in a world with everything the same.
and also, what the fuck is the point to insultign anothers beliefs anyways. what do you hope to accomplish? make him feel like shit, change his ways of thinking, or get him not to like you...? any reason i can think of seems like a really big waste of time if you ask me.

Polymirize is exactly right, your entire philosophy was stated in about two lines and was egoism with with apparent splashes of hedonism. One reason many act nice towards others and seemingly "go out of their way to be nice" is because it makes them feel good, they get more out of doing the good deed and the feeling they recieve from the act then the use of what ever they had to give up. So that act is actually selfish at the very core because it was really done to serve the person. 96 percent of the post was not your philosophy but how you plan on changing your behaviors to more suit who you aspire to be ideally.

Not insult, well not deliberately or at least not that badly, the actual term here might be critique. I critiqued his beliefs. Why? To make them apparent to him so that he could change them upon reflection. A waste of time? The world only exists so much on its own, and the rest we create for it cognitively. Maybe the way people think about things changes the way they approach them and in this approach change the things themselves.
Was Gandhi or MLKjr wasting their time to try to change the minds of people? Just as an example, not a direct connection to this particular case I'm sure.
