yes i know 1 48 is fine but there is no need for the cfls and if the light is the usual 2-4inches away that's gonna cause problems. i have always had much better results with the light at least 12inches away when cloning, even with flouros. with hid i would keep the light much further away than 12inches for cloning. i was just making this point because alot of new growers don't realize that alot of light is not good for cloning.
