When I was little, I used to *layer* my pizza in a coat of applesauce, and MmMmMmmmM mmm was it good.

Haven't done that for awhile, but it's *high* time I do. ~

I guess you have to like sweet on savory to like pineapple on pizza... Apple sauce never flew with me on meat... I foud this out a long time ago when I got pork chops and applesauce was on the side... oh yeah,,,who was the fool that put pineapple slices on a perfectly good canned ham??? shoot him...

Hmmm, savory and sweet go well together, if you ask me. But I don't necessarily have to combine them in the same bite or the same mouthful. I like to alternate tastes. Like right now I'm eating raw vegetables with ranch dip. When I finish the veggies, I'm going to eat two oatmeal cookies. Then it'll be time for something salty again. This is a good all-night grazing technique. . . .
