I never cared much for the Beatles either. I love Lennon on his own and some of their last workings, but their early stuff is so lovey dovey, foo-foo pansy music. Like songs like "I wanna hold your hand" is no different than Britney Spears singing "Hit me baby one more time." It was crap pop music then as it is today, so no, the Beatles suck nuts I think.

Give me some Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, not some fairy band with matching haircuts and suits singing about crap, hey, just like pop music today.
You missed the point of the thread.
It wasn't who was the earlier musician or who you think was a cooler musician. It was who is the best all around musician. Chuck Berry would be a weak choice, you could say he was the most influential, or made the best music, but not that he was the best all around , musician, he played guitar and sang, that was it.

The Rolling Stones had matching haircuts just as long as Beatles(It was considered rebellious in the early sixties, interestingly The Beatles were the first band to move away from the look, going with short hair at the height of the 60s) . Zeppelin would seem to have matching haircuts, just longer, think about it.

Robert Plant is a fairy, and he really does sing about crap.

Name three LZ songs and one will probably be stolen.
