mcartney is a great musician. personaly i like steely dan, granted they are two guys, they still put out some amazing music. If you want to look at it from a $$ standpoint paul mcartney has sold more records then most record companys.

hendrix was an amazing guitar player, lets not forget the insaine bass and drum guys that had to play rythim section while jimmy played.

I am now convinced he is the greatest all around musician in rock history and probably one of the greatest singers ever recorded. He plays every instrument, is perhaps the greatest Bass player in rock history, and he is the greatest vocalist in rock history.
