That song is like a cult classic. I don't know why, but whenever it is played on a night out, the whole crowd goes nuts for it. Where I live they do.

It's a great fuckin song. But there's a stigma surrounding John Denver. He's just not "cool." It's one of those songs you play at home, but are embarrased to play out in public.

Well I like the idea of recording yourself driving around, but I would prefer to watch it recorded during the day.

Actually it would be really cool to see people post a video of them driving around thier home town and driving to places. It would give us a better idea of where we all live. In fact, I'm stealing this thread:

Everyone with a camera, record yourself driving around your hood and post it on here (upload to youtube or similar site). Don't be stupid and record yourself rolling a J or driving to your dealer or house and keep incriminating and really personal stuff out. I'll make one and upload, and look foward to seeing everyone elses.

Nah, I'm in Oklahoma. But we have our share of country roads out here too. I drive on them every day. I have to. Country roads really do take me home.
