Stirring Blunts?!
Last night I smoked 5 blunts with these kids I never met before. But any way... right after we lit the blunts one of the kids would stir the blunts as if it was a spoon and he was stirring a soup. He said that it caught runs. I am a bit skeptical so can anyone verify this or even suggest a reason why this might help.

hmm...maybe it was to get more oxygen to the cherry on all sides so it burned more evenly? that's my best guess...

you dont stir a blunt to stop runs, you put a little bit of spit on the tip of your finger and put it where the run is thus stopping it.

yeah I know stopping runs works by wetting the runs but I still think this stirring thing may work... this guy knew what he was talking about when he talked about other weed stuff...

If you roll your blunt/joint correctly, it won't 'run' or 'canoe'. Some people think its the way you hit the blunt that makes it run, but it's obviously how it was rolled lol. It runs because you didn't roll it tight enough or pack it right.

I really don't see how that would stop and runs. Maybe make it worse, giving more oxygen to the already burning side...
