I think a lot of work at home things you see on flyers are probably some sort of scam, but there are also a lot of legitimate WAH jobs out there, you just have to be diligent with your research. A basic rule of thumb is that you should NEVER work for a company who wants $$ from you- they should be paying YOU!
I believe Benagain works at home... is he still around??

A friend of mine works from home doing some kind of medical billing thing...But she doesn't have enough work to make it a full time thing - It's all legit - she gets checks from the company, but I think she only works like 15-20 hours a week.

I work my Ebay biz and net between $400-600/mo. Not bad for a few hours/week at the computer and running to the mail box! All it takes is some junk to sell and a digital camera and there are ways around that by selling what others wholesale, and wholesalers are easy to find!

Yep, I work from home. I tried quite a few of those work from home bits but most of them are just trying to get you to run your own business from home. That does work pretty well for some folks, but I prefer working for another company that guarantees me a check. I really got it by accident. I had moved down here to FL and put my resume out on the various websites and had applied for a few customer service jobs and one day I got an email from a guy offering me a job. The money isn't the most you'll get paid, but considering I pay nothing for gas and lunch money every day, it's not soo shitty. I do tech support and customer support via email and such and have a VOIP phone for receiving and sending calls.
If you want to work from home but not for yourself, just try to get your info out there for the net to check out. I think a lot of it has to do with luck, but you never know. A lot of companies are switching to the virtual office as it's cheaper to pay for a VOIP phone setup than an office building. Some other companies have tried it and couldn't pull it off, but it works really well for what we do.
Good Luck :thumbsup:I was gone for a while and now I\'m back.
