The grand daddy of all rock bands has got to be Led Zeppelin without doubt !!!!!!!!!! some head banging tunes also some brilliant ballads don't you think seen live never forgotten I remmeber it like yesterday the 1st album it blew me away.

One of my favorite songs is dazed and confused, the live version blows me away.

I cant believe just like nobody said deftones nobody has said Pantera or Black Sabbath yet. You also cant forget Clutch, Sevendust, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, and Soulfly. Also for people who like Killswitch Engage you should listen to Shadows Fall.

Any one heard of the Bad Plus?, they are a jazz trio but they have covered Black Sabbath / Nirvana Tunes and there drummer in amazing...............really amazing, beyond amazing.
