THE BOOM OUTSIDE BAGHDAD

My son, like yours, signed the dotted line stating that he would go anywhere, and kill anyone in his way in the acts of WAR. WE went to war with Iraq and the people that are there deserve and also need our support.

When ya join is there a "I won't fight there clause"? LOL...wouldn't have WW2 been a hoot if that were the case.
Here is the United States Army oath . . .

I (insert name), having been appointed a (insert rank) in the U.S. Army under the conditions indicated in this document, do accept such appointment and do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter, so help me God.

Since the President is the Commander and Chief of the military guess who gives the orders and who takes them.

"Could it be I am promoting the SAME agenda that swept through both the house and senate a few weeks ago?"
Fact is, MOST of all the Dems brought in are NOT looking for the 6 month pull out but are looking for the ultimate goal of a stable Iraq.........I don't see this in the "tree hugger" agenda. Pelosi wanted Murtha.......the pull out now man and got out voted for Hoyer. What does that say about the "agenda that swept through both the house and senate"?

Have a good one!

Your son did not sign up to KILL anyone. Protecting and killing are two different things. You are starting to sound like the description twirly posted of our military and that is really disgusting. You give our boys a very bad reputation. You posted exactly what they signed up to do Preserve Honor and protect OUR constitution NOT the Iraqi constitution. It is not the job of the US to NATION build.<---- those are Bush's own words.
The Iraqi do not want us there as they have stated this many times. There was no enemy there until Bush provoked every country in the middle east into this war.

Where exactly IS your son stationed Psycho? I am curious... I am not hearing the concern I hear from most parents with childern there.

So answer me this... you seem to believe that the President as the commander in chief he must be obeyed at ALL COST. Tell me this, IF someone was to go behind the back of the President lets say a general or some other high level cabinet official and make a deal with a country that the United states has cut off relations with... Lets say Cuba or maybe Iran. Would you see this as an act of treason?
You seem to put so much importance into the power of the Commander in Chief and am curious as to what you think should happen to someone dealing behind the presidents back.

Newsweek has just hailed the emergence of a booming market economy in Iraq as "the mother of all surprises," noting that "Iraqis are more optimistic about the future than most Americans are." The reason, of course, is that Iraqis know what is going on in their country while Americans are fed a diet of exclusively negative reporting from Iraq.

Here's an Idea, Why don't you move to Bagdad and open a hot dog stand?
Amendment IV The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Funny you should bring up the food industry.......BOOMING in the Kurdish region. They are in big need of processing and packaging investors. Think a bit higher in the future.......stands are for kids.

"To conquer, we must destroy our enemies. We must not only die gallantly; we must kill devastatingly. The faster and more effectively you kill, the longer you will live to enjoy the priceless fame of conquerors." -- George S. Patton

Do ya think that they train soldiers to fire weapons, launch missiles in order to shoot candy at the enemy? Soldiers are trained to be killing machines.....always have and always will.

I give our boys a bad rep........supporting their actions in times of war isn't a bad thing.....complaining about what they have to do during that time is a lack of total respect for those serving.

GIVE THE LINK because I can provide MANY from the Prime Minister and President of Iraq requesting that we don't do a left wing cut and run.

Where exactly IS your son stationed Psycho? I am curious... I am not hearing the concern I hear from most parents with childern there.
My son has been out for about a year now........all is well and if he had to go back in....wherever, I would show COMPLETE support.

I completey expected this type of crap when I posted this because the left wing daisy pushers can't handle the fact that some things are going WELL over there. Tell ya what, join up with the Hee-Haw band and you too can play Gloom, Despair, Agony .

I guess you are not going to answer my question about going behind the Presidents back. Afraid of where it's going? I think you know. One day you will have to admit this war was wrong and the Bushes are BAD.

I can't wait to watch Psycho Jed eat his hat.

Ah, trickle-down economics.....yes, many financial oportunities in war profiteering. Hadji's family was blown to pieces but he can one day own a hummer if he works hard. Business is good and that's really what counts.
