Me too. It's been a strange week..I usually start hiking around 5:15am-5:30am..coffee up and rock...it's been cold, wet and cold, warm and wet and warm. Hard to dress for. No critters for the last few days? To "whatever" for them I guess. I'm a Shaw Butte loop person, 4.2 miles around. Usually do that 2-3 times. Good for the concentration...I did South Mountain's Hobart Trail in Nov for the Phoenix Seven Summit Challenge, but I don't normally make it down there.
I did the Pemberton Trail loop in the Mcdowell Mountain park a few months ago. That was awesome. Stopped about 8-9 miles out for a quick smoke break and that's when the coyotes started howling..all around and where I was heading. Kind of strange, yet cool. Very clean and litter free.
Back to painting my son's room wall mural..damn trees.
Out here
AZhiker Reviewed by AZhiker on . Greetings from Phoenix -new to site Cloudy day-strange for phoenix, housework, painting, usual stuff. Hope everyone had a good holiday. I had lots of spare time to stomp around in the desert preserve, checking out the critters. Coyotes, roadrunners and owls mostly. Was interested in conversing with locals..mutual intrests and opportunities.. Back to cutting plywood and using power tools..total professional..just low on gas. This rocks.... AZhiker Rating: 5
