Light will not penetrate the canopy.. making the plants taller does not seem to be efficient.... looks like HAL has his shit DIALED..

i flower my clones as soon as the root , so yeah the are short but each plant will give me anything from 1 to 2 ounces, i can fit 28 plants into my room , i let u do the mathes . the room with the clones has another 23plants to go into that . thats roughly 28 to 56 ounces every 4/5 weeks.

i agree that taller plants really dont mean anything, and yes maybe less efficient there seems to always be a more efficient way to grow, how ever im used to seeing my plants this size when i start to flower, not half way through. Either way there beautiful, and i would agree they look 100% healthy. maybe there lsted, cant really tell by pics. Sativas ussually are tall, that why i asked.

sorry i for to mention most of these plants are into week 4 of ( 11/13 ). thanks for the comments GK and jack. my plants all end up roughly 2 and a half foot , with fat main colas, also the small side buds are tight and not fluffly. when u are burning 600watts x 2 also it allows u to manage ur lights better do the is less chance of heat stress. i find that if i keep the small and grow loads of smaller plants i can easy match sumones yeild growing half the plants and twice the size . also at harvest time the are simple to trim

ohhh ok, lol posted at the same time, cool, so the immediate flowering is why there short.. is that how the crop circle works or how u like to do it? i always understood they needed time to grow to about 8" but either way there matured so i guess it doesnt matter to much.

i have grown larger plant but i find them harder to manage . the amount of bud on a plants is inline withthe size of the root system below it . now when my clones root threw the cloning blocks i transplanr them straight away and put them into flower. a plant doesn;t make roots during the daytime only at night so the 11/13 light setup helps them root in no time . i find doing it this way my buds are of better quality as each plant get plenty of light, i average 75 watt per square foot.
    i hope this helps mate
