That bit I can agree with.

That's why they probably won't (in my betting book) and I think we *might* see limited action against certain facilities that are perceived as a threat. Much like the Israeli strike againt Iraq in '86 (IIRC - Osirak Nuclear facility?) I think the U.S will argue it as a pre-emptive strike against an aggressor clearly willing (maybe not able, yet..) to attack the U.S and related interests (that's me as a Brit too, so I'm biased ) so it will be an acceptable policy for most in the U.S and probably the UK to be honest. Attacking Iran and knocking out Nuclear or other sensitive facilities would probably be considered "OK" by a LOT of people.
