Well, if you scrape it and mush it together it'll burn and there actually is a decent amount of smoke. I don't know that I would have broken my pipe for it, but OP mentioned he has more than one pipe, and that the pipe was fairly cheap? Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Nelf Reviewed by Nelf on 12-28-2006. dangerous smoking? the other night i was really needing a buzz.. and i have a few pipes.. one of which was a small, thing, snake like piece i picked up for 15 bucks. i had boiled it twice and scraped it three times and i still couldnt get this gorping ball of resin out of the first turn in the pipe.. so i smashed in on the ground and scraped all of the pieces. naturally, there was a few glass shards that were too small for me to pick out but for the most part i kept all of the glass out. i smoked the resin and Rating: 5

15 bucks for a broken pipe and a little bit of resin...Unless the pipe was 1-2 I really don't see it as being worth it, I wouldn't pay 15 bucks for a high, never mind a shitty resin high. Even 1-2 dollars, I wouldn't wanna waste a pipe that badly.

Well, look at the pipe as an investment. You have more than one pipe now, and you obviously can't turn this old pipe into money again (most people I know dont bother buying used pipes), so why not?
