Is $80 too pricey for an eighth of weed?

I was wondering if $80 is too much to pay for an eighth (standard 3.5 gram bag). I have never paid that much when I buy weed. The standard price for great bud (kind bud) is $50 an eighth.

My friend said that it was THE Purple Haze strain and was going to charge me $80, which I am skeptical about. It was her friend that had the weed. It is probably just your average good kind bud I was presuming. A lot of people just like to call good weed Purple Haze for some retarded reason.

No. The most I ever spent on an eighth was 60, and it has been the best weed i ever had. That was once. For 50 I can get some real nice, sometimes name strains. And for 55, I can actually get alot of real strains, and when I paid 60, it was some alaskan thunderfuck, which knocked me on my ass.

Oh, and it sucks, cuz there is alot of weak purps out there, weak purple strains i mean, i smoked this mendocino purple and it wasnt too nice. And then they think its fuckin "purple haze."

THe most I ever pay is 65$-$70 and that was with my old dealers. Goood shit and normal cali prices. But 80$ you should be getting more then an eigth.

never pay more than $60 a bag, no matter what. and just to reitterate, what you are getting will most likely not be purple haze. i think purple haze is just one of the most well known strain names, so people drop the name all the time, whether trying to sell it for more or trying to brag about how they have the best weed. i've heard many idiots at parties talk about how they have purple haze but "they left it at home" and i just laugh.

Yea, never pay more than $50 an 8th EVER. I don't care if it's purple sticky punch and it'll suck yer dick after ya smoke it, it ain't worth it. People always try to throw names out there when they don't even know how to cultivate a plant.


I judge weed like this. There is poop mids, mids, beasters, dank, and nugs. Nugs is what we all want, that sticky icky. Good nugs you judge on smell, feel(stickiness, density, etc.), looks, taste, and high. The last two you can only tell after you bought the sack but if it passes the first three tests it should taste and smoke good as well. I hate when people say they have ak-47, or white widow, cause they don't, they have good nugs, plain and simple. But they don't have one of the couture strains because the only way you know if it is for reall is if you got it straight from a trusted grower or were in a coffee shop or something.

ive smoked good purple before, and ive smoked purple shit that did absolutely nothing. We used to call it Purple Cabbage, it was so useless. The name Purple doesent mean anything really...just the conditions in which it was grown.

u gota b smart when buying purp,u should make sure its an actual purple strain and not jus cold weather purple.Get Grandaddy,Barney or Lavender Purple If u in the bay,they some of the best purple strains floatin around out here.
