Because weed is the most widely used illegal substance, and they probably believe in the whole "gateway" shit (yes, I know its dis proven, but you can't disprove ignorance...) so they most likely feel like they are "cutting the problem off at the source"

They really need to educate about harder drugs, 'cause kids DO use them. You know what one of my friends said to me once? "You know what would be trippy man? Crystal" as in meth...he had no clue how bad it was. He thought acid was bad, in fact, I mentioned acid and he said "nah man" and then the bit about meth.

Had he gotten his hand on some meth, he coulda become an addict. I really didn't know much about it till I started researchin', no clue thats what meth is.

Also I read an article on hight times that a ton of kids were using heroin 'cause the town didn't have lots of weed.

On an MTV show, I think maybe "true life: heroin addict" then it mostly showed teens. Prices have dropped and usage has increased, one clip showed a girl get like $10 from her mom, and she went and shot H.

Why is there no anti-heroin commercials? Fucking christ. If kids don't hear that its bad, they won't think it.
