The blunt experience

Yesterday was my first experience with a blunt, and also my first experience smoking with a couple friends of mine... as far as the high goes, I will never smoke from a joint again. Blunts hit smoother, taste better, the weed has a much cleaner/distinct flavor, and I've never gotten higher off mids, even though I shared it.

Then I was overcome with what one of my friends called "blunt sickness..." I'm sitting there comepletely happy, then suddenly shit just comes rocketing out of my throat and the whole trip was ruined... Hopefully that only happens once coz other than the projectile vomitting, I loved smoking the blunt.

Has anyone else heard of this dreaded sickness?

A lot of people get sick off blunts cuz they take bigger hits than they should. The smoke is also very thick and overwhelming for a n00b..

Does it normaly happen more than once? I really wanna smoke another blunt but im not too keen on vomiting all over my parent's carpet. I was lucky and we were outside for this.

Yeah, it can happen sometimes when you're first starting out. One of the main causes for people puking from smoking is usually they swallow a lot of smoke which in turn iritates your stomach.

After you've broken yourself in a bit, you'll be fine..

don't try to hold in your smoke. just inhale and exhale. it should keep you from swallowing too much smoke. also, keep a fizzy drink on hand so you can burp up the smoke as much as possible. other than that, it just takes experience.

NOOOO. They do NOT hit smoother, that is a FACT! Its got bacco in it man. I hate blunts for that reason. I've only smoked like, 3-5 blunts and every single HIT feels like someone punches me in my lung. That is the BEST way to describe it, its like, if I wanna properly inhale the smoke from the weed I inhale the shit from the bacco too and it prevents me from enjoying it. You ain't supposed to inhale cigars...Think about it, the main diff between cigars and cigs is the wrap.

Its cool that you like blunts and all, but there is no possible way that blunts hit smoother than joints. That teeny white joint paper is no where near as harsh as that of a blunt.

You said that this was your first time with friends though, thats probably why you felt so high and had a good time. Blunts are overrated to the max.

You shouldn't hit blunts like crazy lol. Inhaling too much will make you sick and can sometimes make your stomach hurt. It only happened to me when I first started because, well I wasn't getting high enough to ignore the sickness lol. I doubt my stomach ever feels good after smokin a blunt but being very high helps it to never affect you. I never threw up though :-/.

i think you probly just smoked to much, because blunts usually have a lot more weed in them than somethin else... ive never thrown up from gettin to high but i have a couple of friends that have..
